Monday Free Write 11/17

High-This week I got my C up to a B in gym, so I get a week off of my grounding. Yay!

Low-My best friend is going away this weekend so I have nothing to do! And I'm going to have to stay home alone and it's gonna be so BORING.

Question-I've been wondering how fast hair grows. Some people I know have hair that gets cut one day, the two weeks later its longer than it was before it was cut!

Goal-This week whenever I'm having a bad day, I'm going to count all the good things that have happened. (so like, I'll sort of count my blessings).

Monday Free Write 11/3/08

Week High: My high this week is that I reached my goal by turning in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS this week. And it wasn't even hard!

Week Low: This week's low is (yes it's shallow and unimportant) that i think I'm starting to like one of my best friends in the world and if he ever found out it would ruin everything.

Question: Why do girls care more about looks than boys? Is it some type of hormone? And why do girls think something about themselves that's totally UN-true? What do they see that the rest of the world doesn't? (sorry that was like 4 questions)

This week's goal: To go out with my parents and do something because I never do anything with them.

Monday Free Write Question

I have recently met someone who is very cynical and usually shuts himself off from the world. He'll tell me he's not willing to love anybody or feel any kind of emotion for fear of falling in too deep. And I am wondering how many other people are like this? And why would anybody shut off their willingness to love? It's like....having a superpower you don't use. It's sad.

About Me

• Favorite thing about English- when i go into Ms. Bryant's English class, I'm always excited to be writing. I can't wait until we all start our short stories or whatever we end up doing. It's also cool 'cause I've met some other peers that are into writing too. I keep journals as well. Lol...I've actually filled up like, five notebooks. :P
• Something unique about me- not a lot of people know this, but I'm half Spanish. (As in Spain...not Mexico ;P) I know it's not that exciting but hey, I'm proud of my heritage! At least I think that's the right word...I don't know :)
• One life goal- something i want to do before i die (besides the obvious. ie: marriage, career, etc.) I would like to...hmm...haven't really thought about this much....oh yeah! I've always wanted to go to New York City. Everyone always tells me it's so pretty and wonderful, and I want to witness that all myself.
